Knit Cactus II

I have knit a cactus from the Teeny Tiny Mochimochi book previously, but on my second go-round in the book, I decided to change up some of the colors and try something a little different.  I've made a slightly lighter cactus (not bright green this time) and he's got green spikes.  Don't worry about that though - he's a gentle cactus.  In fact, this cactus' favorite past time is volunteering at the local animal hospital, frolicking through the woods, and practicing yoga - so he's not quite as prickly as his appearances may indicate.  Never judge a cactus by his pokers.

Tiny Cactus

The months of April and May were difficult and busy, and because of this, I had to consolidate my time and concentrate on work and other endeavors.  Now, with summer fast approaching and my time freeing up ever so slightly, I hope to update this blog as I had previously.

Tonight, I present to you the tiny cactus.  Her name is Alecia, and despite her prickly appearance, yarn doesn't hurt, so her cactus exterior isn't really that intimidating in person.  Also, she's got stuffing inside rather than water.  What did you expect from a cactus named Alecia though?
